Senior Hardware Engineer -Medical Devices

Location: Tarrytown, NY, USA

Mode of Work- Onsite

Must-Have Skills

\n
• 10/15 years of experience in Medical Device Hardware Development
\n
• Analog, Digital & Mixed-Signal Design,
\n
• Experience with signal integrity techniques and layout constraints.
\n
• MCU, FPGA, Sensor Interface Design
\n
• Power Electronics, Battery-Powered Devices, DC-DC Converters
\n
• High-Speed PCB Design (Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN)
\n
• PCB Design, DFM, DFT, SI/PI Analysis
\n
• Hardware Verification & Validation (V&V)
\n
• Hands on risk Management.
\n
• IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, ISO 14971, ISO 13485
\n
• Windchill / Agile PLM
\n
• (JInterfaces: USB, I2C, SPI, RS232, Ethernet, GSM, Bluetooth, Altium, OrCAD
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Prior experience designing medical equipment or IVD systems.
\n
• Experience with motion control systems, motor drivers, and precision sensors.
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Lead hardware design, development, and sustaining engineering activities for regulated medical devices.
\n
• Perform schematic reviews, component selection, PCB design reviews, and hardware validation.
\n
• Execute risk assessments, V&V, compliance testing, and regulatory support activities.
\n
• Support manufacturing transfers, supplier changes, and cost optimization programs.
\n
• Collaborate with Systems, Firmware, Mechanical, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
\n
